Perros-Guirec-20

Friday 14 May, 2010

To be honest the trip to Perros-Guirec was a bit of a drab affair. Perhaps it was the weather but the buildings looked uninteresting, even the usual church couldn’t inspire us.

It was spitting off and on and when it came to lunchtime it turned to a drizzle, luckily I found an overhanging rock by the harbour in Port Blanc where we could shelter, munch our sarmis and observe these fishermen

Fishing and seafood is a big thing in Brittany, everywhere you find little restaurants offering all kinds of fish and shellfish, I still haven’t had my mussels yet though.

The camping we found for the evening was big and noisy, I wanted a cabin but none were available so we had no choice but to pitch the tent. Just as well because we were comfortable and I wouldn’t have wanted to stay another night with Karaoke and disco going on.

Distance 48 km
