Silvermine
Today we meet Su’s parents for the first time and, as they are also very much outdoor people, they have organized a picnic at the Silvermine dam off the Ou Kaapse Weg. It is a beautiful site with many picnic sites dotted along the dam.
Nick and Brian brave the cold water for a swim, luckily I can claim that I did not bring my costume. After the sumptuous lunch we feel the need to walk some of it off and we go for a short walk and we are rewarded with some great views towards Muizenberg and Houtbay.
We find a great lookout with some tantalizing rock faces
and feel the need to climb another koppie

Cape Point is somewhere behind those mountains. The place is getting more and more built up.

We finish a lovely day with supper at the Brocks.
