Today must have been the hottest day of the year so far, close on 36 degrees C. Lucky I could spend most of the day in the garage where it was relatively cool. Yep, we were let down once again as the promised kitchen tops did not materialize, manjana, tomorrow. We will see.
Lucky we started off early again on our ride, to Sards and back the long way, unfortunately batteries empty on gps so I have no details. The hills were difficult in the beginning but a banana at the right time seemed to sort that out and we finished strongly.
This afternoon we had a visit by some shady characters trying to sell us a convectionaire cooker, they insisted on giving a demo and I must say quite impressive and they took the no quite well. Interestingly I overheard them discussing the various cars in people\’s driveways so we are a bit suspicious.
Tomorrow 9 degrees cooler and prediction of some rain, lets hope so.
