One of those days when it was heads down and make up kilometers. The tent was still quite wet when we packed. We were tired of the bigger roads with quite a lot of traffic whizzing by and tried the more rural roads which of course means more upside down. Had a little tiff when there was a misunderstanding about directions which didn’t help matters much so all in all a bit of a “kak” day. At last we saw plenty of menhirs all neatly spaced.

We didn’t buy supplies until it was too late because when we came to our intended camp it was still 5 kms to the nearest shop so on our way there we decided to push on and find a camping in another village. Quite silly really because we had plenty of food with us which would have seen us through till the next day but I guess out of the box thinking is difficult when you are tired.

We ended up doing 96 up and down kms but were rewarded with a lovely campsite.
