At last a day without “outside” interference and also a night I actually slept through instead of my usual 3:00am tossing and turning so an ideal time to get stuck into the tiling job and get it done. Lots and lots of cutting, thankfully these tiles are much easier to cut than the bedroom tiles.
I had high hopes to be finished by lunchtime, ha ha, turned out to be 4pm, it doesn’t pay to hurry a tiling job, the uneven joint or chipped tile will look accusingly at you for ever after.
Coming on nicely here, I’m cutting and fitting the strip of tiles between the top and the first row, a finicky job, nothing compared to this one though:
In the meantime Ellie was doing the grouting of the areas I tiled yesterday and I think we can be very happy with the final result:
