I have not blogged for a while as we have spent the last few weeks with family and have mainly rested and done short trips in the surrounding area.
Tomorrow we leave for two weeks Switzerland, car, boat, train, plane, tram to Basel where we will spend the night and then on to Interlaken near the Jungfrau where we will base ourselves on a camping and start off with some daytrips and then probably a multi-day hike using huts. We are rather underprepared so we will have to find the lay of the land by ourselves, hopefully they have good tourist info there and, hopefully, a big tv screen on Tuesday night.
To prepare we have just done a 60km ride to my sister Annie (who was not home) and back.
