Shopping time again, we want to make sure we have some emergency food the first night we will be on our way so we pedaled to Terneuzen to explore some shops. Just as well we took our time getting there and spending some quality time at the Braakman dike because the shops are closed on a Monday morning. Between the Hema and the C1000 we got most of the things we wanted in double quick time so we had some spare time to visit our old friends Riet and Gerard. My afterthought of putting the waypoints of friends and family in the gps paid off once again.
We spent a lovely afternoon with them sitting in the sunny garden drinking coffee and coffee and some more coffee, great to reinforce some old ties again. Too soon it was time to leave, Riet still took us to a bicycle shop where I ordered new tires and then we cycled back to Biervliet in double quick time where I am typing this out now between sips of a nice glass of red wine.
